Covid-19 Update
In light of the ongoing worldwide health crisis, we would like to reassure both new and existing Couples that we are doing our utmost to support you during this difficult period. We have already assisted several Couples in rescheduling their special day to a date that they feel more comfortable with and we will continue to work with our Couples as the situation continues to evolve.
We successfully and safely hosted weddings in 2020 and very much plan to continue hosting Weddings going forward, restrictions permitting. We are continually monitoring the special measures for travel and group gatherings and will ensure that our Couples are aware of all of the relevant details they need to make informed choices about their Wedding Day.
It’s natural to have questions about your Destination Wedding and we’re here to make your experience and planning your day enjoyable and stress free. Below is a selection of the most common queries that we receive. If you cannot find the answer that you’re looking for, please reach out to us so we can clarify and allay any concerns that you may have.

Full details of the precise documents required and when you need to send them to us, will be provided to you during the planning stage of your Wedding and with plenty of notice.
A. All of the legal documents required will need to be translated in to Greek which we will take care of on your behalf. There is an additional charge to translate some documents which fall outside of the standard requirements.
A. Yes, as in the UK, two witnesses are needed for all weddings. If the couple wish to travel alone, we can arrange our wedding co-ordinators to act as witnesses.
A. The ceremony itself is conducted first in Greek, and then repeated in English.
A. We recommend that you arrive at least 2 days before the wedding, but there is officially no set amount of days.
A. There is no time limit to arrange your wedding.
A. Generally the busiest times of the year are dates that coincide with UK school holidays. St. Paul’s Bay Chapel has historically been a popular Ceremony venue, however during the wedding hiatus at the Chapel, more ceremony venues became available and are becoming increasingly popular.

A. We understand that occasionally circumstances dictate that your Wedding Day may need to be rescheduled or postponed. We are happy to reschedule your day for a more suitable date in the future, subject to availability. A €30 admin fee is applied to reschedule your Wedding date. Should your Wedding need to be rescheduled due to Covid travel restrictions either in the UK or Greece, preventing you from traveling, we will waive the admin fee to reschedule your Wedding date. Any deposit paid will be transferred to your new Wedding date. Should your day be postponed for an extended period of time, and the new date incurs an additional charge due to annual inflation, you will be liable to pay this increase.
Your deposit payment to us secures our services for the date that you have requested, and we commit to taking no other bookings for this date. For this reason, should you wish to cancel through choice and not due to restrictions that would not permit your wedding to take place, we are not able to refund your initial deposit payment.
