I dont even know where to start and how I can thank Amy and everyone who works for happilyeverafter. The planning started way back in November 2012 when I sent that ever important first email booking our wedding at St Pauls Bay in Lindos, this was an easy decision to make in booking the chapel after an amazing recommendation from a work colleague, and how right he was. Being so laid back I never wanted a huge fussy wedding so having one abroad was just perfect for me and the hubby to be. Even though Stephen would have gone with anything I would have chosen. For over a year I had sent numerous amount of emails to Amy discussing the big day and imagining how perfect it would be, I never felt any pressure and all the stress was taken from me, not that there was any stress mind. Upon arriving to the Matina this year me, stephen and a few family members had our pre wedding meeting and discussed how the day would go. Not all went as planned. Though at no fault of anyones other than the weather. The strong winds which we experienced a few days before the wedding did stop us from having the champagne cruise from the chapel back to our reception. Although I was upset by this the day before the wedding you would have never known on the day. It went like clockwork all thanks to the amazing staff at Happily Ever After. The morning started with a champagne breakfast which was secretly arranged by my now husband and the fab Amy Hilton. Myself and my dad then had a lovely but very quiet drive to the chapel until the driver beeped his horn so loudly to let everyone know the bride had arrived. A quick and simple ceremony perfect may I add and very emotional not only for me but alot of people, all who commented on what a perfect Island Rhodes was to get married. After the ceremony and photographs (which me and stephen love very much) we arrived back at the reception held at the Matina. Where we enjoyed amazing company, emotional speeches, a delicious BBQ and a very tasty 3 tier cake. The DJ was great and played any song requested, he was that good I think I was up dancing to every song along with plenty of other people. Stephen wanted me to mention the lovely Valentina who manned the bar and was a great host, I even got a little greek dance lesson from her which was fab. A day that we will treasure forever, enjoyed by all and still now have people talking. Pefkos to me and Stephen is like a second home and we will be returning no doubt to celebrate many upcoming anniversaries. Thank you once again Amy. Our day was just perfect and that was all thanks to you. I hope everyone else who chooses to marry with Ηappily Εver Αfter have as many fond memories.
